COVID-19 new cases are reported in 22 states of the federation, while Lagos is leading with 117 new cases of the pnademic. This is as Nigeria, on Tuesday, recorded 423 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 and six deaths. The Nigeria Centre for Disease, NCDC, that released the report in its Twitter handle also mentioned FCT-40, Ondo-35, Rivers-28, Osun-24, Benue-21, and Abia-19. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed a new date for the commencement of the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening for the 2020/2021 admission processes. JAMB anounced that the screening would begin not earlier than September 7, 2020, in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in the country.
