A Magistrate Court in Osogbo has sentenced a 30-year-old woman to six months in prison for stealing a goat worth N45,000. Sadiat Jimoh is said to have stolen a she-goat belonging to Fausat Adegboga on Sunday, January 5, at Agunbelewo area of Osogbo metropolis. The idea that there was no law that mandates President Muhammadu Buhari to declare his assets publicly has been punctured by a Nigerian human rights lawyer. The presidential spokesperson to Mr Buhari, Femi Adesina, speaking on a private television programme, said no law compelled his principal to make public his assets in his second term.
