    Billboard Hot 100: Ariana Grande Tops For 5th Consecutive Week

    US pop star, Ariana Grande, has topped Billboard Hot 100 for the fifth consecutive week with her song: ‘7 rings’

    The Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard Magazine.

    Chart rankings are based on sales, both physical and digital, radio play, and online streaming in the United States.

    Hasley ‘Without you’, Post Malone and Swae Lee ‘Sunflower’  and Ariana Grande ‘Thank you Next’ were rated second, third and fourth  respectively on the chart.

    Cardi B ‘Please me’ featuring Bruno Mars debuts is occupying the fifth position giving her Cardi her seventh among the Top 10 single.

    Other songs that occupied the chart are:  Marshmello and Bastille, ‘Happier’, Travis Scott’s Sicko Mode, Ariana Grande, ‘Break up with your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’, which occupied  the sixth, seventh and eighth positions respectively.

    ‘High hopes’ by Panic at the Disco and ‘Wow’ by Post Malone, completed the top 10.

    The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the number one song of the Hot 100 was “Poor Little Fool” by Ricky Nelson.

    A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by Billboard on Tuesday’s of every week.
