    Coy Delivers Educational Materials to Eastern Obolo School

    As part of its commitment to community development and investment in education, Ibom Developers Free Zone Enterprise (FZE) has distributed educational materials to pupils of Government Primary School, Isiotoyo Autonomous Community in Eastern Obolo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

    The initiative, coming under its educational support programme, “Ibom Developers and the Future Generation, forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Community Development Programmes (CDP).

    The event witnessed the presentation of a wide range of educational materials including school bags, exercise books, writing materials, water bottles, tables and chairs, pencils, pens, and other learning aids designed to improve the learning environment and encourage academic excellence among pupils.

    Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the Community Development Programmes Coordinator of Ibom Developers Free Zone Enterprise, Ms. Grace Inyang, said the initiative was conceived to inspire young learners and provide them with the tools needed to pursue their education with confidence and determination.

    According to her, education remains one of the most effective pathways for transforming communities and empowering future generations.

    “At Ibom Developers Free Zone Enterprise, we believe that every child deserves access to quality educational resources regardless of their background. Through our ‘Ibom Developers and the Future Generation’ programme, we are investing in the leaders, professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”

    She noted that the company recognises the strategic importance of education in community development and nation-building, adding that the provision of learning materials was intended to complement government efforts in improving educational outcomes.

    “We understand that learning becomes more effective when children have the necessary materials and a conducive environment. That is why we have provided school bags, books, writing materials, water bottles, tables, and chairs to support both the pupils and their teachers. We hope these items will motivate the children to remain committed to their studies and achieve their dreams.”

    Ms. Inyang assured the community that Ibom Developers FZE would continue to implement people-focused development programmes aimed at improving the quality of life in its host communities.

    “Our relationship with our host communities goes beyond business operations. We are committed to fostering sustainable development through investments in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and other initiatives that create lasting positive impacts. Today’s programme is another demonstration of that commitment.”

    She encouraged the pupils to take their studies seriously, remain disciplined, and aspire to become responsible citizens who would contribute positively to society.

    “You are the future generation that this programme is named after. We urge you to study hard, respect your teachers and parents, and believe in your ability to succeed. The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.”

    The pupils and teachers of Government Primary School, Isiotoyo were excited over the educational intervention.

    Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Evelyn Joseph Samuel expressed profound gratitude to Ibom Developers FZE for the generous support, describing the intervention as a source of encouragement and motivation for the pupils.

    “We are very happy and grateful to Ibom Developers Free Zone Enterprise for remembering us and supporting our education. These school bags, books, water bottles, pens, pencils, tables and chairs will help us learn better and make school more enjoyable. Many of us have never received this kind of support before.”

    She further assured the company that the pupils would make good use of the materials and remain committed to their studies.

    “On behalf of all the pupils, I want to say thank you to Ibom Developers FZE for investing in our future. We promise to study hard, be disciplined, and make our parents, teachers, community and the company proud. Your kindness has inspired us to dream bigger and work harder towards achieving our goals.”

    Many of the pupils could not hide their excitement as they proudly received their new school bags, books, water bottles, and writing materials. Some of them described the gifts as the first time they had received such comprehensive educational support.

    The “Ibom Developers and the Future Generation” initiative is one of several community-focused programmes being implemented by Ibom Developers Free Zone Enterprise as part of its broader commitment to promoting sustainable development, educational advancement, and improved livelihoods within its host communities in Akwa Ibom State.

    The programme further underscores the company’s belief that investing in children today is an investment in a brighter and more prosperous future for the community and society at large.
