The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, Sunday, played host to Lagos and Akwa Ibom State governors, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Udom Emmanuel at the 30th anniversary celebration of the church.

The church founded 30 years ago organized a two-day international convention at the MFM Prayer City, Kilometre 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State on Saturday.

Mr Sanwo-Olu who was joined by his wife, Ibijoke, at the event, is an MFM member.

Meanwhile, more than 300 first class graduates who are MFM members from various reputable universities and polytechnics across the world benefited from the Dr. D.K. Olukoya Academic Award of Excellence in 2019.

Olukoya himself a first class graduate from University of Lagos instituted the award for the academic high-flyers with each beneficiary collecting N500,000, showing that the award gulped N150 million for this year.

He graduated from Unilag in 1980 with a first-class degree in Microbiology. He was the first person to have achieved a first-class in the course at the university and his G.P.A is still the highest recorded so far (as at February 2010) in that course.

Of the beneficiaries, three came from Akwa Ibom while graduates more than three bageed first class in Medicine and Surgery from world-class universities.

The governors presented the awards to the beneficiaries at the anniversary on the theme: “Re-arranged For Revival.”

Olukoya who rendered a duet with his wife, Shade, later said the anniversary marked “30 years of uncommon testimonies, 30 years of turning barren life into fertile one, 30 years of glorious manifestation of of signs and wonders, 30 years of yoke breaking and glorious display of gospel of Jesus Christ, 30 years of God’s faithfulness, 30 years of manisfestation of divine acceleration and 30 years of mysterious destiny restoration.”

According to him,  “it also marked 30 years of demonstration of the raw power of God Almighty, 30 years of divine power and divine favour, 30 years of breaking stubborn yokes,, 30 years of life changing and mountain-moving prayers and setting the captives free, among others.”

The colourful event witnessed choir ministrations of various ethnic groups across the world and climaxed with the cutting of the 30th birthday anniversary cake.

Students of the Mountain Top University founded by the church also performed chorale ministration at the event.

MFM is a Pentecostal denomination founded in Yaba, Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria in 1989, now with churches in several English-speaking and non-English-speaking countries. It was founded by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya (DKO).

MFM Ministries is a full gospel ministry devoted to the Revival of Apostolic Signs, Holy Ghost fireworks and the unlimited demonstration of the power of God to deliver to the uttermost.
