El-Rufai, therefore, challenged the leadership of the National Assembly to disclose the details of its budget, as well as the salaries and allowances of its members.
The Governor said his monthly salary is N470,000, and a summary of the state’s major expenditure.
On expenses on security votes in 2017, he said N1.5 billion was used for the procurement and installation of CCTV cameras for the metropolis while N193 million was for procurement of geo-position interceptor and location of GSM UMTS systems.
According to him, procurement of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and the establishment of a forensic laboratory consumed N265 million.
In addition, N2.6 billion was used to support the network of Federal Security Agencies in 2017, bringing the total to N4.459 billion.
