Reactions from social media
Meanwhile, some netizens in the social media have hailed the decisions of the stakeholders to endorse and adopt Idem for a third term.
Endurance Imoh Job
The unanimous adoption of Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Unyime Idem as consensus candidate by critical stakeholders of Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency is not merely a political endorsement, it is a resounding affirmation of superlative representation, legislative sagacity, and developmental statecraft.
When elder statesmen and technocrats converge in one accord to enthrone continuity, it underscores a fundamental truth, where performance is incontrovertible, consensus becomes inevitable.
Rep. Idem’s declaration to seek a fresh mandate is therefore not an act of personal ambition, but a response to the collective clarion call for consolidation of democratic dividends. His stewardship from facilitation of federal employment, empowerment of over Thousands of Constituents first in history in Nigeria, electrification projects, foreign and local scholarships, has elevated the bar of representation and provided a template for legislative excellence nationwide.
In sum, Rep. Unyime Idem is a testament to the politics of performance over propaganda, substance over sentiment, and results over rhetoric. Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency has spoken with one voice, experience is not to be discarded, capacity is not to be gambled with, and progress is not to be interrupted. The constituency has chosen continuity of excellence over experimentation.
Ilung Eyem Dr. Unyime idem even the unborn generation.

This is the congregation of the real masquerades (aka) stakeholders not the Ekpo ntok ajen stakeholders we saw being paraded the other day. This reminds me of the folktale I heard about the centipede and the millipede who were embarking on a journey and forgot to close their pot of soup, halfway into the journey, millipede remembered their pot of soup was left open and suggested to his partner that they go back and close the pot so that no insects or crawling creatures might get into the soup, then the partner laughed and responded sarcastically thus: Da sang Jak Ika, me anie ekama ndidieen, eseduo eduk efere Jak agwo edidiaha aba? nkor mmimo! Lol.

It is well- deserving, Sir.
Congratulations to you!
But bear it in mind, that you are going to replace Umoh Eno come 2031, so get prepared because you have a greater task ahead in replicating your achievements at a larger scale at the state level.
I will personally superintend your campaigns at no cost.
I am going to do it on the premise that quality leadership should be encouraged in the state.
Though I come from Etinan Federal Constituency, I can’t ignore your conspicuous and quality performance in your federal constituency.
Once again congratulations to you, sir!
