Two siblings were, Wednesday, arraigned before Magistrate Court in Enugu over an allegation of murder of a make-up artist.
The court heard that Chiamaka reportedly lured Ijeoma Neke by inviting her for a make-up job.
Chiamaka Ifezue and Emeka Ifezue allegedly killed Ijeoma for having an affair with Chiamaka’s ex-boyfriend.
Shortly after the case was adjourned for a latter day, Ijeoma’s mother created a scene outside the courtyard as the suspects were ferried into a vehicle for prison.
In a video making round on social, Ijeoma’s mother was heard calling on God to intervene. She heard moving toward the vehicle cursing the alleged killers of her daughter that they would die, and that their generation is cursed.
“You will die. Your generation is cursed. You killed my daughter,” the woman says as the heartbroken mother cried uncontrollably.
Recall that the late Ijeoma left home for the job on November 11, last year after she was lured by a young lady identified as Chiamaka, and her senior brother who later poisoned her and subsequently dumped her remains.
Her corpse was also bathed with acid sometime all because of boyfriend matter.
The corpse was later found few days along Maryland in Enugu after her she was declared missing.
On getting there and suspecting foul play, Ijeoma quickly sent an SOS message to a friend, before she was forced to drink a poisoned substance.
Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija reality star Mercy Eke joined those mourning the makeup artist, Ijeoma Neke, killed after she was lured under the pretense she was needed for a makeup job.
Calling for Ijeoma’s killers to be brought to face justice, Mercy tweeted: “Ijeoma neke was my course mate, a very brilliant young woman. She graduated with a 2/1.
”Ijeoma was one of the best in my department( psychology Dept .2010/2014) we always tease each other and I will tell her “girl you must work in my rehabilitation center #JusticeForIjeoma.”
She added: “And she will say mercy this department doesn’t fit you and we will laugh over it, when I heard she was missing we hoped and prayed they find her alive. My heart is pleading we want justice, just must be served #JusticeForIjeoma.”
However, the case has been adjoined to February 24, 2021.
