    New Akwa Ibom Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries For Swearing In Monday

    Five new Permanent Secretaries appointed by Akwa Ibom State Government in Nigeria to assist in rejigging the civil service are to be sworn in on Monday, January 4.

    Governor Udom Emmanuel is expected to perform the swearing-in ceremony of the appointees at Banquet Hall, Uyo at 11 a.m.

    Also, four new Commissioners and Special Advisers-designate will be sworn in same day. The appointees are Uko Udom, SAN, John James Etim, Pastor Umo Eno, and Mrs Idongesit Etiebet.

    The new Permanent Secretaries are Mr Ini James Ikie, Dr Ini Jackson Etukudo,  Mrs Esther Aniekan Inyang, Mrs Grace Paulinus Jim and Mrs Abasiekeme Victor Essien.

    A press release issued on Saturday, January 2 by Elder Effiong E. Essien, Akwa Ibom Head of Civil Service has congratulated the appointees.
