A Nigerian social media commentator and critic has picked holes in the ‘Nigeria Air’, national air carrier recently launched by the Federal Government.
In his Twitter handle Saturday, Reno Omokri who was an aide to the ex-President Goodluck Jonathan queried ‘’Why do we criminalise 419 fraud as a country when our own government is engaging in the mother of all 419?’’
Nigeria Air was launched at the Farnborough airshow in London on Thursday last week by Senator Hadi Sirika, the Minister of State for Aviation, while the official launching of the carrier is slated for December 19, 2018.
‘’How can they expect us to support the payment of $300 million tax tpayer money for a 5% stake in an airline that has not yet taken off, has no website, no email, no address?’’ Omokri asked.
