The Nigerian military is currently carrying out airstrikes in Orlu, Imo State, thus heaping misery on the community.

Some footage of the airstrikes shared online by residents of the area showed people being subjected to military actions.

Nigerian military is carrying out air strikes in order to fish out operatives of Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had set up the security network to secure communities against attacks from armed Fulani herdsmen.

In the viral videos, a helicopter belonging to Nigerian Air Force is seen shooting into communities as residents run in panic for safety.

In one of the videos, a child could be heard crying and calling on the mother.

@DoctorEmto Whilst the Nigerian army is using fighter jets to drop bombs in ORLU in IMO state in search of ESN, they’ve been so helpful to Bandits and Boko Haram terrorists who are getting arms while being snubbed. See how heavily armed these guys are… One Nigeria my ass!

Meanwhile, hundreds of military operatives Thursday launched heavy attacks on the camps of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, in some parts of the forest Umunna in Orlu and Orsu local government areas of Imo state.

Vanguard investigation into the clashes was revealed that the military launched the attacks on hearing that the members of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, had set up a base in the forest from where they would execute their operations.
