A Nigerian clergyman has told President Muhammadu Buhari to shut down Big Brother Naija for promoting pornography.
BBNaija reality television show which was rolled out Sunday, July 19 with 20 housemates is expected to last for 10 weeks.
In a video trending online, Ebelenna Chukwu styled a Prophet bemoaned that the future of the Nigerian child is at stake if the Nigerian government should allow the programme to continue.
According to Chukwu, the reality TV show is corrupting the minds of children who are currently at home due to the pandemic and that he would shut it down spiritually if the Buhari-led government doesn’t shut it down immediately.
”If the Nigerian government did not shut BBNaija down, I will shut them down by force. With my spiritual capability, I can do it. I know who I am. I am not a prophet that is boasting,” he said.
Chukwu who is the General Overseer of the Jehovah The Mightier Than All Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, Anambra State has gotten more than 782 comments so far on the video in the social media.
