Tributes have continued to pour as a renowned Mass Communications Professor at the Lagos State University (LASU), Lai Oso, died in a road accident. Three medical students reportedly died after a speedboat carrying 14 students on a cruise, capsized at a resort in Calabar, Cross River State on Saturday, June 24. A septuagenarian has been sentenced to death by hanging for killing a school proprietor at the Kajola area of Odigbo Local Council Area of Ondo State on August 7, 2021. The 78-year-old community leader, Ojo Komolafe found guilty by Ondo State High Court of killing a School Proprietor, Taofik Babalola, was also sentenced to seven years on a second count.
