According to reports widely published in major news outlets, Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State. One person survived and 13 passengers were, Sunday, roasted in auto crash which occurred near the Four-Corners, Enugu at 9 p.m. The ill-fated 14-seater bus said to be traveling from Imo State to Adamawa reportedly ran into a trailer before it went up in flames. The Nigeria’ Flamingos have defeated Germany to clinch bronze medal in the FIFA U-17 Women World Cup in India. After narrowly missing out a place to Colombia in the final match, the Flamingos on Sunday soared to a 3-2 penalty shootout victory over Germany. Students at the Main Campus of the University of Uyo, can heave a sigh of relief, as a 25 year-old man, who has been robbing them of their money, telephones, and laptops, among other valuables, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison. Suspected gunmen have killed a police officer and collected his service rifle in Calabar, the Cross River State capital. The slain officer, identified as Sergeant Peter Ikwen, was shot dead in Edgerton Street, Calabar on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
