The Nigeria Police Force has arrested one Ms. Peace Ekom Robert, who is suspected of engaging in serial fraudulent activities, which have affected numerous individuals. A professor of Medical Engineering and Technology, Hippolite Amadi, has emerged winner of the 2023 Nigeria $100,000 Prize for Science. The Advisory Board of the Nigeria Prize for Science led by Professor Barth Nnaji stated this at a press conference organised by the Nigeria LNG Limited, in Lagos on Thursday. President Bola Tinubu has approved the implementation of 35 per cent and 23 per cent of salary increment for staffers of all Federal tertiary institutions. `The Nigeria Police Force, Akwa Ibom Command, says it has neutralised two robbery suspects and arrested another in Uyo, the state capital.
