Nigerians have been advised not to entertain an illusion that Dangote Refinery would guarantee them cheaper supply of refined petroleum products. The Chief Executive Officer of Financial Derivatives Company Limited (FDC), Mr. Bismarck Rewane, however, said Dangote refinery would guarantee improved supply of petrol in Nigeria’s domestic market, but would not affect the foreign exchange position of Nigeria significantly. The Senate Public Accounts Committee has summoned the management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) over an alleged N100 billion contract awarded to 626 firms.
