Cases of Monkeypox have spread to 26 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the country, raising fears among citizens. Suspected gunmen have freed four Catholic Reverend sisters who were kidnapped along Okigwe-Umulolo community of Imo state on Sunday August 21. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Sunday, said electronic transmission of election has come to stay, denying plan to manually transmit results during the 2023 general elections. The National Commissioner and Chairman of its Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, while debunking speculations that results would be transmitted manually, said, the electronic transmission of results remained the same.
