Incumbent Gboyega Oyetola is galloping ahead his rivals, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and Mr Lasun Yusuf, in early results from some wards in the Osun APC governorship primary. At Eyindi Ward 07 in Ila-Orangun, Oyetola won all the 545 votes cast by party members. At Ward 05, also in Ila Orangun, Oyetola swept all the 813 votes cast. Two ex-policemen were, Thursday, sentenced to death by Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, for conspiracy and armed robbery. James Ejeh and Simeon Abraham were arraigned on October 20, 2017, by the Police on two counts bordering on conspiracy and armed robbery. Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has released the list of 292 orphanages that benefited from his N250 million donation. As part of his birthday celebration in November 2021, Davido had sent out a video message to his friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry to send money to him. Nigerians have been advised not to entertain an illusion that Dangote Refinery would guarantee them cheaper supply of refined petroleum products. The Chief Executive Officer of Financial Derivatives Company Limited (FDC), Mr. Bismarck Rewane, however, said Dangote refinery would guarantee improved supply of petrol in Nigeria’s domestic market, but would not affect the foreign exchange position of Nigeria significantly.
