Prince of Wales, Charles and his wife, Princess Camilla who are in the country on a three-day tour met President Muhammadu Buhari few hours ago in a closed-door meeting.
A report monitored from The Vanguard indicated that the meeting was held in the Buhari’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Prince Charles and his wife touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 1:34 p.m. and were immediately driven to the Presidential Villa.
The Prince, during his visit in the country, is expected to engage in peace-building activities including addressing the farmers–herders clashes.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the ties between Nigeria and the Britain as members of the Commonwealth.
Prince Charles took over as the head of the Commonwealth of Nations last April, succeeding his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
