The sexual harassment allegation the suspended Chairman of the Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central), leveled against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has been punctured for being anchored on ”no shred of evidence.’’
US-based Lady, Sandra Duru popularly known as Prof Mgbe has become a whistleblower in shredding the umbrella of Natasha’s sexual harassment claim into pieces over what she sees as ‘‘lack of evidence’’ on the matter.
In February 2025, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan visited Berekette FM Radio and accused Akpabio of sexual harassment, citing inappropriate comments and advances.

Days after, her petition to Senate leadership was dismissed on procedural grounds, though the second petition was accepted.
The Senate later suspended her for six months over unrelated conduct, a move many Nigerians perceived as retaliatory and an attempt to silence her.
The suspension triggered nationwide protests under the slogan “We are all Natasha,” with women’s rights groups and activists rallying in her defense and denouncing systemic gender-based discrimination in Nigerian politics.
After suspension, Natasha visited Inter Parliamentary Union in New York, granted interviews to BBC News, Skynews and some foreign mass media laying claim to the allegation.
However, Natasha is said to have called Sandra Duru, also known as Prof. Mgbeke, on phone praising her for standing with her in the campaign against Akpabio.
In an audio listened to by Straightnews on Facebook, Natasha praised Prof Mgbe, though the Senator later denied ever meeting, knowing or talking to Sandra Duru.
Prof Mgbe said ‘‘So no, I’m not afraid of a Natasha. I’m not jealous of her. I am exposing her. I didn’t go to her, she came to me the same way she went to FIDA and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili! I couldn’t be bought over due to my firm principles and my spiritual beliefs and moral values! Arise award was sponsored by Natasha! She told me all!
She confided in me. She told me about the powerful men she used and dumped, and her calculated moves from the former NDDC MD, Nsima Ekere, to Emmanuel Uduaghan, to Senator Akpabio. She revealed her spiritual practices, her political ambitions, and her personal vendettas.
Natasha once said to me, and I quote: “My goal is to dismantle the ‘Yoruba Government.’ If Akpabio falls, the APC will crumble.”
She told me about her planned alliance with Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Mrs. Abiola of FIDA, and others, allegedly paying them to disrupt the Senate hearing on her sexual harassment claim, despite having no credible evidence. She wanted me to join her smear campaign, and I declined. That prompted my viral post:
NO EVIDENCE, MAKE PEACE. I will play her already forensically investigated voice to you all and how she was laughing at her useful idiots, the entire senate and all Nigerians! She manipulated everyone and she’s taking our public sympathy and support as if we are FOOLS! Join me live on my platforms for the REVELATIONS!
…I will also share with you here on my platform. I have evidence, so anyone who comes to the public domain to allege anything MUST also give the public the evidence to see, hear and understand and stop lying to people and keep buying time by saying, when we go to court, i will tender my evidence! So, why come to the public court where we have already started crucifying the people you told us were harassing, threatening, victimizing you! This birthed my unique book UNHEARD SCREAMS! Men are human beings, too and their rights must be protected by laws and everyone!
…This is no longer about two women. Not about her careless utterance and her pattern of evil attacks against men when she can’t have her way! This is about truth, justice, and national integrity.
According to her, ‘‘I have over 20 pieces of evidence backing every claim I’ve made. I will release three to the public. Natasha must also release her evidence, if she has any.
”Enough is enough.
To the Nigerian Police and global human rights bodies: Do your job. Investigate thoroughly. Justice must not be selective.
If it were VeryDarkMan (VDM), all hell would have broken loose by now, and he would’ve been arrested, televised, charged, and swiftly prosecuted. If it were Seun Kuti, or even that NYSC corps member who made headlines, or any ordinary Nigerian youth making such inflammatory and inciting statements, the police would not have spared them.
Yet, Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has made multiple unverified allegations and inciting claims without a shred of evidence, and she walks free. If her claims against all the people she has accused are correct, we will all join in the fight against injustice and oppression, and demand that all those people be prosecuted!
Meanwhile, the international community is watching, and mocking Nigeria and our security agencies for the apparent double standards and the erosion of accountability in our justice system.
To the Nigerian people, Join me LIVE for a no-holds-barred broadcast where I will release irrefutable evidence. Invite every media house, human rights group, blogger, and concerned citizen. The time for silence is over.
Let it be known: I am not a pushover. I am not a tool. I am not a liar. I am not a weak woman!
Natasha is not a victim, she is LIE-TASHA.
And no one is above the law.
For now, i do not want to mention or drag in the SECRETARY of a certain political party in Nigeria and his relationship with Natasha until we have the need to do so!’’
In another piece, she tagged ‘‘SANDRA vs NATASHA: The Movie Nigeria Never Asked For—But Must Watch Closely!’’ noting ‘‘Nigeria may soon be drawn into a dangerous political theatre that threatens to drag what’s left of our national integrity through the mud.
The unfolding saga between myself, Dr. Sandra C Duru, and Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan is not just a personal encounter, it is a microcosm of a broader pattern of a very dangerous manipulation, weaponized gender narratives, and calculated smear campaigns that must be exposed.
I have painstakingly followed due process to ensure that justice is not only done but seen to be done, and on behalf of every Nigerian who has suffered from the consequences of false accusations and political witch hunts disguised as activism.
Mgbe recalled ‘‘We’ve seen the global consequences of weaponized allegations:
- Johnny Depp, who was publicly crucified before evidence emerged to clear his name.
- Pastor Timothy Omotoso in South Africa, who spent years behind bars before being released due to weak prosecution.
- Reno Omokri, who narrowly escaped a similar trap.
How many men, boys, and sons have suffered in silence? Careers lost. Families shattered. Reputations destroyed, and all, before the truth had a chance to speak.
Before anyone dares to reduce this to “women tearing down other women” or labels it as jealousy, let me remind you: I have paid my dues in this country.’’
