Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, Thursday, halted execution of death-row inmate, Julius Jones, hours before he was scheduled to die for a 22-year-old murder. Bulgaria will decide the runoff election of its Head of State on Sunday, the country’s Election Commission said on its website on Wednesday. According to the final results of the first round on November 14, Bulgaria’s incumbent President, Rumen Radev got 49.42 per cent of the votes and will head to a runoff with Anastas Gerdjikov who received 22.83 per cent. The Federal Ministry of Finance and National Planning will commence the disbursement of funds to universities on Thursday, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, has assured. Ngige said the government is certain that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will not embark on the planned strike.
