Worried by the grievances of striking doctors in Nigeria, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), wants President Muhammadu Buhari to use the proposed N4.87 billion for WhatsApp monitoring to pay their allowances. At least, 22 Fulani travellers massacred by unknown persons along Gada-Biyu – Rukuba Road in Jos, the Plateau state capital on Saturday, August 14 had been laid to rest. About 50 of the travellers were moving in a convoy of 5 hummer buses when they were attacked, leaving others with serious injuries. The assailants reportedly dragged the victims out of their vehicles which were trapped in a gridlock and then killed many of them using machetes, daggers, knives, stones and other dangerous weapons. A 24-year-old school dropout who wanted to build a helicopter has been killed after one of the blades of the helicopter prototype slashed his throat while he was testing it. President Muhammadu Buhari, Saturday, paid tribute to pioneer civil servant, great statesman and patriot, Alhaji Ahmed Joda.
