A university professor, Tuesday, was arraigned on a two-count charge of manipulation and falsification of results before Akwa Ibom High Court. Peter Ogban from the University of Uyo was arraigned by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state for allegedly manipulating the scores of two political parties. The Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) says Moderna has met 94.5 per cent efficacy in the pre-specified criteria of their vaccine. The result came a week after Pfizer’s vaccine results, New Medical Life Sciences reported. US Biotechnology Company, Moderna has been working on a vaccine to potentially treat COVID-19 since mid-January, and has released their phase three results for their mRNA-1273 vaccine. The Akwa Ibom State Government raked in a whopping N118,253,725,190.45 billion from internally generated revenue in five years. A breakdown shows that the government generated N18,730,338,859.70 in 2015; N16,290,953,095 in 2016; N19,513,860,604.75 in 2017; N28,213,636,273 in 2018 and N35,504,936,358 in 2019.
