Nigeria’s COVID-19 new cases have surged to 1,585 with eight deaths within 24 hours. Of the number recorded in 25 states including Federal Capital Territory, Lagos State is still the epicenter with 573, followed by FCT with 182 and Plateau with 162 cases. Magistrate Court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital has warned parents of the abused 11-year-old student of Deeper Life High, Idoro Uyo to stay off the social media.
