Some Nigerians have vented anger on the killing and burning to ashes of a member of Vigilante group by mob over alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad in Lugbe, Abuja. The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has released names of 13 aspirants cleared for the party’s presidential primaries holding from June 6-8 in Abuja. Straightnews reported on Friday that the All Progressives Congress’ Screening Committee had disqualified 10 aspirants of the 23 from its primaries scheduled for next week. Two notorious robbery and rape suspects arrested by Akwa Ibom Police Command are to be arraigned before court of competent jurisdiction for trial. The All Progressives Congress’ presidential screening committee has disqualified 10 aspirants from its primaries scheduled for June 6-7, 2022. The Chairman of the Committee, John Oyegun, who stated this Friday, said 13 out of the 23 aspirants screened were cleared by the committee. When asked about the identity of the disqualified aspirants, Mr Oyegun declined to disclose the names.
